Itunes legacy use doesn’t necessarily contraindicate Android.

Not sure about Windows Phone 7 – but Microsoft haven’t released that yet have they?

Using A PC client like the (free) http://doubletwist.com/desktop/ Doubletwist works.
I’ve tried this and it worked syncing non-drm content from Itunes to an HTC Desire S flawlessly

Well said! It’s inevitable that PC World/Currys are going to get turned down. Too many local businesses with friends in higher places. As mush as I love the Isle of Man, I refuse to purchase electrical goods or furniture over here due to the extortionate premium on these goods. Buying online is the only option for me and I will continue to do so until something changes.
